And Jacob^H3290 lifted up^H5375 his eyes,^H5869 and looked,^H7200 and, behold, Esau^H6215 was coming,^H935 and with him four^H702 hundred^H3967 men.^H376 And he divided^H2673 the children^H3206 unto Leah,^H3812 and unto Rachel,^H7354 and unto the two^H8147 handmaids.^H8198

And when Pharaoh^H6547 drew nigh,^H7126 the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 lifted up^H5375 their eyes,^H5869 and, behold, the Egyptians^H4714 were marching^H5265 after^H310 them; and they were sore^H3966 afraid:^H3372 and the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 cried out^H6817 unto Jehovah.^H3068

For I have heard^H8085 the defaming^H1681 of many,^H7227 Terror^H4032 on every side:^H5439 While they took counsel^H3245 together^H3162 against me, they devised^H2161 to take away^H3947 my life.^H5315

From the end^H7097 of the earth^H776 will I call^H7121 unto thee, when my heart^H3820 is overwhelmed:^H5848 Lead^H5148 me to the rock^H6697 that is higher^H7311 than I.

Well^H2896 is it with the man^H376 that dealeth graciously^H2603 and lendeth;^H3867 He shall maintain^H3557 his cause^H1697 in judgment.^H4941

Discretion^H4209 shall watch^H8104 over thee; Understanding^H8394 shall keep^H8104 thee:

And^G2532 he saith^G3004 unto them,^G846 Why^G5101 are ye^G2075 fearful,^G1169 O ye of little faith?^G3640 Then^G5119 he arose,^G1453 and rebuked^G2008 the winds^G417 and^G2532 the sea;^G2281 and^G2532 there was^G1096 a great^G3173 calm.^G1055

These things^G5023 have I spoken^G2980 unto you,^G5213 that^G2443 in^G1722 me^G1698 ye may have^G2192 peace.^G1515 In^G1722 the world^G2889 ye have^G2192 tribulation:^G2347 but^G235 be of good cheer;^G2293 I^G1473 have overcome^G3528 the world.^G2889

who^G3588 comforteth^G3870 us^G2248 in^G1909 all^G3956 our^G2257 affliction,^G2347 that we^G2248 may be able^G1410 to^G1519 comfort^G3870 them^G3588 that are^G3739 in^G1722 any^G3956 affliction,^G2347 through^G1223 the comfort wherewith^G3874 we ourselves^G846 are comforted^G3870 of^G5259 God.^G2316

Yea,^G1161 and^G2532 all^G3956 that would^G2309 live^G2198 godly^G2153 in^G1722 Christ^G5547 Jesus^G2424 shall suffer persecution.^G1377
