And the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 again^H3254 did^H6213 that which was evil^H7451 in the sight^H5869 of Jehovah:^H3068 and Jehovah^H3068 strengthened^H2388 Eglon^H5700 the king^H4428 of Moab^H4124 against Israel,^H3478 because they had done^H6213 that which was evil^H7451 in the sight^H5869 of Jehovah.^H3068

Then believed^H539 they his words;^H1697 They sang^H7891 his praise.^H8416

And yet for all this her treacherous^H901 sister^H269 Judah^H3063 hath not returned^H7725 unto me with her whole heart,^H3820 but feignedly,^H8267 saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

How^H335 can I pardon^H5545 thee? thy^H2063 children^H1121 have forsaken^H5800 me, and sworn^H7650 by them that are no^H3808 gods.^H430 When I had fed them to the full,^H7650 they committed adultery,^H5003 and assembled themselves in troops^H1413 at the harlots'^H2181 houses.^H1004

But this people^H5971 hath a revolting^H5637 and a rebellious^H4784 heart;^H3820 they are revolted^H5493 and gone.^H3212

And ye were now^H3117 turned,^H7725 and had done^H6213 that which is right^H3477 in mine eyes,^H5869 in proclaiming^H7121 liberty^H1865 every man^H376 to his neighbor;^H7453 and ye had made^H3772 a covenant^H1285 before^H6440 me in the house^H1004 which is called^H7121 by my name:^H8034

How shall I give thee up,^H5414 Ephraim?^H669 [how] shall I cast^H4042 thee off, Israel?^H3478 how shall I make^H5414 thee as Admah?^H126 [how] shall I set^H7760 thee as Zeboiim?^H6636 my heart^H3820 is turned^H2015 within me, my compassions^H5150 are kindled^H3648 together.^H3162

yet^G1161 hath he^G2192 not^G3756 root^G4491 in^G1722 himself,^G1438 but^G235 endureth^G2076 for a while;^G4340 and when^G1161 tribulation^G2347 or^G2228 persecution^G1375 ariseth^G1096 because of^G1223 the word,^G3056 straightway^G2117 he stumbleth.^G4624
