Pour forth^H6327 the overflowings^H5678 of thine anger;^H639 And look upon^H7200 every one that is proud, and abase^H8213 him.

The Lord^H136 will laugh^H7832 at him; For he seeth^H7200 that his day^H3117 is coming.^H935

There are six^H8337 things which Jehovah^H3068 hateth;^H8130 Yea, seven^H7651 which are an abomination^H8441 unto him:^H5315

And the mean man^H120 is bowed down,^H7817 and the great man^H376 is humbled,^H8213 and the eyes^H5869 of the lofty^H1364 are humbled:^H8213

Behold, the Lord,^H113 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 will lop^H5586 the boughs^H6288 with terror:^H4637 and the high^H7311 of stature^H6967 shall be hewn down,^H1438 and the lofty^H1364 shall be brought low.^H1438

Behold, the day^H3117 of Jehovah^H3068 cometh,^H935 cruel,^H394 with wrath^H5678 and fierce^H2740 anger;^H639 to make^H7760 the land^H776 a desolation,^H8047 and to destroy^H8045 the sinners^H2400 thereof out of it.

Yet thou shalt be brought down^H3381 to Sheol,^H7585 to the uttermost parts^H3411 of the pit.^H953

The earth^H776 mourneth^H56 and fadeth away,^H5034 the world^H8398 languisheth^H535 and fadeth away,^H5034 the lofty^H4791 people^H5971 of the earth^H776 do languish.^H535

that bringeth^H5414 princes^H7336 to nothing; that maketh^H6213 the judges^H8199 of the earth^H776 as vanity.^H8414

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 After this manner will I mar^H7843 the pride^H1347 of Judah,^H3063 and the great^H7227 pride^H1347 of Jerusalem.^H3389

Behold, I am against thee, O thou proud^H2087 one, saith^H5002 the Lord,^H136 Jehovah^H3069 of hosts;^H6635 for thy day^H3117 is come,^H935 the time^H6256 that I will visit^H6485 thee.

Now^H3705 I,^H576 Nebuchadnezzar,^H5020 praise^H7624 and extol^H7313 and honor^H1922 the King^H4430 of heaven;^H8065 for all^H3606 his works^H4567 are truth,^H7187 and his ways^H735 justice;^H1780 and those that walk^H1981 in pride^H1467 he is able^H3202 to abase.^H8214

Woe^H1945 unto you that desire^H183 the day^H3117 of Jehovah!^H3068 Wherefore^H4100 would ye have the day^H3117 of Jehovah?^H3068 It is darkness,^H2822 and not light.^H216

Behold, I will send^H7971 you Elijah^H452 the prophet^H5030 before^H6440 the great^H1419 and terrible^H3372 day^H3117 of Jehovah^H3068 come.^H935

For^G3754 every one^G3956 that exalteth^G5312 himself^G1438 shall be humbled;^G5013 and^G2532 he that^G3588 humbleth^G5013 himself^G1438 shall be exalted.^G5312

For^G1063 yourselves^G846 know^G1492 perfectly^G199 that^G3754 the day^G2250 of the Lord^G2962 so^G3779 cometh^G2064 as^G5613 a thief^G2812 in^G1722 the night.^G3571
