And, behold, Jehovah^H3068 stood^H5324 above it, and said,^H559 I am Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of Abraham^H85 thy father,^H1 and the God^H430 of Isaac:^H3327 the land^H776 whereon thou liest,^H7901 to thee will I give it,^H5414 and to thy seed;^H2233

And his father^H1 refused,^H3985 and said,^H559 I know^H3045 [it], my son,^H1121 I know^H3045 [it]; he also shall become a people,^H5971 and he also shall be great:^H1431 howbeit^H199 his younger^H6996 brother^H251 shall be greater^H1431 than he, and his seed^H2233 shall become a multitude^H4393 of nations.^H1471

Ye shall make^H6213 you no idols,^H457 neither shall ye rear you up^H6965 a graven image,^H6459 or a pillar,^H4676 neither shall ye place^H5414 any figured^H4906 stone^H68 in your land,^H776 to bow down^H7812 unto it: for I am Jehovah^H3068 your God.^H430

Unto thee it was showed,^H7200 that thou mightest know^H3045 that Jehovah^H3068 he is God;^H430 there is none else^H5750 besides him.^H905

And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken^H8085 diligently^H8085 unto the voice^H6963 of Jehovah^H3068 thy God,^H430 to observe^H8104 to do^H6213 all his commandments^H4687 which I command^H6680 thee this day,^H3117 that Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 will set^H5414 thee on high^H5945 above all the nations^H1471 of the earth:^H776

For their rock^H6697 is not as our Rock,^H6697 Even our enemies^H341 themselves being judges.^H6414

There is none holy^H6918 as Jehovah;^H3068 For there is none besides^H1115 thee, Neither is there any rock^H6697 like our God.^H430

Thus saith^H559 Cyrus^H3566 king^H4428 of Persia,^H6539 All the kingdoms^H4467 of the earth^H776 hath Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of heaven,^H8064 given^H5414 me; and he hath charged^H6485 me to build^H1129 him a house^H1004 in Jerusalem,^H3389 which is in Judah.^H3063

For who is God,^H433 save^H1107 Jehovah?^H3068 And who is a rock,^H6697 besides^H2108 our God,^H430

Be not afraid^H3372 of sudden^H6597 fear,^H6343 Neither of the desolation^H7722 of the wicked,^H7563 when it cometh:^H935

Ye shall have a song^H7892 as in the night^H3915 when a holy^H6942 feast^H2282 is kept;^H6942 and gladness^H8057 of heart,^H3824 as when one goeth^H1980 with a pipe^H2485 to come^H935 unto the mountain^H2022 of Jehovah,^H3068 to the Rock^H6697 of Israel.^H3478

Behold, the former things^H7223 are come to pass,^H935 and new things^H2319 do I declare;^H5046 before they spring forth^H6779 I tell^H8085 you of them.

Ye are my witnesses,^H5707 saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 and my servant^H5650 whom I have chosen;^H977 that ye may know^H3045 and believe^H539 me, and understand^H995 that I am he: before^H6440 me there was no God^H410 formed,^H3335 neither shall there be after^H310 me.

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 that made^H6213 thee, and formed^H3335 thee from the womb,^H990 who will help^H5826 thee: Fear^H3372 not, O Jacob^H3290 my servant;^H5650 and thou, Jeshurun,^H3484 whom I have chosen.^H977

I am Jehovah,^H3068 and there is none else; besides^H2108 me there is no God.^H430 I will gird^H247 thee, though thou hast not known^H3045 me;

therefore I have declared^H5046 it to thee from of old; before^H227 it came to pass^H935 I showed^H8085 it thee; lest thou shouldest say,^H559 Mine idol^H6090 hath done^H6213 them, and my graven image,^H6459 and my molten image,^H5262 hath commanded^H6680 them.

Therefore fear^H3372 thou not, O Jacob^H3290 my servant,^H5650 saith^H5002 Jehovah;^H3068 neither be dismayed,^H2865 O Israel:^H3478 for, lo, I will save^H3467 thee from afar,^H7350 and thy seed^H2233 from the land^H776 of their captivity;^H7628 and Jacob^H3290 shall return,^H7725 and shall be quiet^H8252 and at ease,^H7599 and none shall make him afraid.^H2729

The king^H4430 answered^H6032 unto Daniel,^H1841 and said,^H560 Of^H4481 a truth^H7187 your^H1768 God^H426 is the God^H426 of gods,^H426 and the Lord^H4756 of kings,^H4430 and a revealer^H1541 of secrets,^H7328 seeing thou hast been able to^H3202 reveal^H1541 this^H1836 secret.^H7328

that thou shalt be driven^H2957 from^H4481 men,^H606 and thy dwelling^H4070 shall be^H1934 with^H5974 the beasts^H2423 of the field,^H1251 and thou shalt be made to eat^H2939 grass^H6211 as oxen,^H8450 and shalt be wet^H6647 with the dew^H2920 of heaven,^H8065 and seven^H7655 times^H5732 shall pass^H2499 over^H5922 thee; till^H5705 thou know^H3046 that the Most High^H5943 ruleth^H7990 in the kingdom^H4437 of men,^H606 and giveth^H5415 it to whomsoever^H4479 he will.^H6634

My God^H426 hath sent^H7972 his angel,^H4398 and hath shut^H5463 the lions'^H744 mouths,^H6433 and they have not^H3809 hurt^H2255 me; forasmuch as^H3606 before^H6925 him innocency^H2136 was found^H7912 in me; and also^H638 before^H6925 thee, O king,^H4430 have I done^H5648 no^H3809 hurt.^H2248

Therefore^G5105 let^G659 us^G2249 also,^G2532 seeing we^G2254 are^G2192 compassed about^G4029 with so great^G5118 a cloud^G3509 of witnesses,^G3144 lay aside^G659 every^G3956 weight,^G3591 and^G2532 the sin^G266 which doth so easily beset^G2139 us, and let us run^G5143 with^G1223 patience^G5281 the race^G73 that is set before^G4295 us,^G2254
