Remember^H2142 the sabbath^H7676 day,^H3117 to keep it holy.^H6942

Speak^H1696 thou also unto the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 saying,^H559 Verily^H389 ye shall keep^H8104 my sabbaths:^H7676 for it is a sign^H226 between me and you throughout your generations;^H1755 that ye may know^H3045 that I am Jehovah^H3068 who sanctifieth^H6942 you.

Then I contended^H7378 with the nobles^H2715 of Judah,^H3063 and said^H559 unto them, What evil^H7451 thing^H1697 is this that ye do,^H6213 and profane^H2490 the sabbath^H7676 day?^H3117

A Psalm of David. Jehovah,^H3068 who shall sojourn^H7931 in thy tabernacle?^H168 Who shall dwell^H7931 in thy holy^H6944 hill?^H2022

Depart^H5493 from evil,^H7451 and do^H6213 good;^H2896 And dwell^H7931 for evermore.^H5769

Praise^H1984 ye Jehovah.^H3050 Blessed^H835 is the man^H376 that feareth^H3372 Jehovah,^H3050 That delighteth^H2654 greatly^H3966 in his commandments.^H4687

I have refrained^H3607 my feet^H7272 from every evil^H7451 way,^H734 That I might observe^H8104 thy word.^H1697

Take fast hold^H2388 of instruction;^H4148 Let her not go:^H7503 Keep^H5341 her; For she is thy life.^H2416

A wise^H2450 man feareth,^H3373 and departeth^H5493 from evil;^H7451 But the fool^H3684 beareth himself insolently,^H5674 and is confident.^H982

The highway^H4546 of the upright^H3477 is to depart^H5493 from evil:^H7451 He that keepeth^H5341 his way^H1870 preserveth^H8104 his soul.^H5315

For thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of the eunuchs^H5631 that keep^H8104 my sabbaths,^H7676 and choose^H977 the things that please^H2654 me, and hold^H2388 fast my covenant:^H1285

If thou turn away^H7725 thy foot^H7272 from the sabbath,^H7676 from doing^H6213 thy pleasure^H2656 on my holy^H6944 day;^H3117 and call^H7121 the sabbath^H7676 a delight,^H6027 [and] the holy^H6918 of Jehovah^H3068 honorable;^H3513 and shalt honor^H3513 it, not doing^H6213 thine own ways,^H1870 nor finding^H4672 thine own pleasure,^H2656 nor speaking^H1696 [thine own] words:^H1697

Moreover also I gave^H5414 them my sabbaths,^H7676 to be a sign^H226 between me and them, that they might know^H3045 that I am Jehovah^H3068 that sanctifieth^H6942 them.

But^G1161 he^G846 said,^G2036 Yea rather,^G3304 blessed^G3107 are they that hear^G191 the word^G3056 of God,^G2316 and^G2532 keep^G5442 it.^G846

If^G1487 ye know^G1492 these things,^G5023 blessed^G3107 are ye^G2075 if^G1437 ye do^G4160 them.^G846

Blessed^G3107 are they^G3588 that wash^G4160 their^G846 robes,^G1785 that^G2443 they^G846 may have^G2071 the right^G1849 [to come] to^G1909 the tree^G3586 of life,^G2222 and^G2532 may enter in^G1525 by the gates^G4440 into^G1519 the city.^G4172
