Wherefore should the Egyptians^H4714 speak,^H559 saying,^H559 For evil^H7451 did he bring^H3318 them forth, to slay^H2026 them in the mountains,^H2022 and to consume^H3615 them from the face^H6440 of the earth?^H127 Turn^H7725 from thy fierce^H2740 wrath,^H639 and repent^H5162 of this evil^H7451 against thy people.^H5971

And Jehovah^H3068 saw^H7200 [it], and abhorred^H5006 [them], Because of the provocation^H3708 of his sons^H1121 and his daughters.^H1323

Remember,^H2142 I beseech thee, that thou hast fashioned^H6213 me as clay;^H2563 And wilt thou bring^H7725 me into dust^H6083 again?^H7725

Know^H3045 ye that Jehovah,^H3068 he is God:^H430 It is he that hath made^H6213 us, and we are his; We are his people,^H5971 and the sheep^H6629 of his pasture.^H4830

Or else let him take hold^H2388 of my strength,^H4581 that he may make^H6213 peace^H7965 with me; [yea], let him make^H6213 peace^H7965 with me.

Wherefore, when I came,^H935 was there no man?^H376 when I called,^H7121 was there none to answer?^H6030 Is my hand^H3027 shortened^H7114 at all,^H7114 that it cannot redeem?^H6304 or have I no power^H3581 to deliver?^H5337 Behold, at my rebuke^H1606 I dry up^H2717 the sea,^H3220 I make^H7760 the rivers^H5104 a wilderness:^H4057 their fish^H1710 stink,^H887 because there is no water,^H4325 and die^H4191 for thirst.^H6772

For thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of the eunuchs^H5631 that keep^H8104 my sabbaths,^H7676 and choose^H977 the things that please^H2654 me, and hold^H2388 fast my covenant:^H1285

but your iniquities^H5771 have separated^H914 between^H996 you and your God,^H430 and your sins^H2403 have hid^H5641 his face^H6440 from you, so that he will not hear.^H8085

And he saw^H7200 that there was no man,^H376 and wondered^H8074 that there was no intercessor:^H6293 therefore his own arm^H2220 brought salvation^H3467 unto him; and his righteousness,^H6666 it upheld^H5564 him.

Therefore thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 Behold, I will melt^H6884 them, and try^H974 them; for how [else] should I do,^H6213 because^H6440 of the daughter^H1323 of my people?^H5971

And I sought^H1245 for a man^H376 among them, that should build up^H1443 the wall,^H1447 and stand^H5975 in the gap^H6556 before^H6440 me for the land,^H776 that I should not destroy^H7843 it; but I found^H4672 none.

I will go^H3212 and return^H7725 to my place,^H4725 till they acknowledge their offence,^H816 and seek^H1245 my face:^H6440 in their affliction^H6862 they will seek me earnestly.^H7836

And they have not cried^H2199 unto me with their heart,^H3820 but they howl^H3213 upon their beds:^H4904 they assemble^H1481 themselves for grain^H1715 and new wine;^H8492 they rebel^H5493 against me.

Have we not all one^H259 father?^H1 hath not one^H259 God^H410 created^H1254 us? why do we deal treacherously^H898 every man^H376 against his brother,^H251 profaning^H2490 the covenant^H1285 of our fathers?^H1
