And the people^H5971 were as murmurers,^H596 [speaking] evil in the ears^H7451 of Jehovah:^H3068 and when Jehovah^H3068 heard^H8085 it, his anger^H639 was kindled;^H2734 and the fire^H784 of Jehovah^H3068 burnt^H1197 among them, and devoured^H398 in the uttermost part^H7097 of the camp.^H4264

Then were the people^H5971 of Israel^H3478 divided^H2505 into two parts:^H2677 half^H2677 of the people^H5971 followed^H1961 Tibni^H8402 the son^H1121 of Ginath,^H1527 to make him king;^H4427 and half^H2677 followed^H310 Omri.^H6018

But the wicked^H7563 shall perish,^H6 And the enemies^H341 of Jehovah^H3068 shall be as the fat^H3368 of lambs:^H3733 They shall consume;^H3615 in smoke^H6227 shall they consume away.^H3615

And the strong^H2634 shall be as tow,^H5296 and his work^H6467 as a spark;^H5213 and they shall both^H8147 burn^H1197 together,^H3162 and none shall quench^H3518 them.

Therefore as the tongue of fire^H784 devoureth^H398 the stubble,^H7179 and as the dry grass^H2842 sinketh down^H7503 in the flame,^H3956 so their root^H8328 shall be as rottenness,^H4716 and their blossom^H6525 shall go up^H5927 as dust;^H80 because they have rejected^H3988 the law^H8451 of Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 and despised^H5006 the word^H565 of the Holy One^H6918 of Israel.^H3478

Wrath^H2534 is not in me: would^H5414 that the briers^H8068 and thorns^H7898 were against me in battle!^H4421 I would march^H6585 upon them, I would burn^H6702 them together.^H3162

For a Topheth^H8613 is prepared^H6186 of old;^H865 yea, for the king^H4428 it is made ready;^H3559 he hath made it deep^H6009 and large;^H7337 the pile^H4071 thereof is fire^H784 and much^H7235 wood;^H6086 the breath^H5397 of Jehovah,^H3068 like a stream^H5158 of brimstone,^H1614 doth kindle^H1197 it.

For Jehovah^H3068 hath a day^H3117 of vengeance,^H5359 a year^H8141 of recompense^H7966 for the cause^H7379 of Zion.^H6726

And they bend^H1869 their tongue,^H3956 [as it were] their bow,^H7198 for falsehood;^H8267 and they are grown strong^H1396 in the land,^H776 but not for truth:^H530 for they proceed^H3318 from evil^H7451 to evil,^H7451 and they know^H3045 not me, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

Therefore they shall be as the morning^H1242 cloud,^H6051 and as the dew^H2919 that passeth early^H7925 away,^H1980 as the chaff^H4671 that is driven with the whirlwind^H5590 out of the threshing-floor,^H1637 and as the smoke^H6227 out of the chimney.^H699

Thus the Lord^H136 Jehovah^H3069 showed^H7200 me: and, behold, the Lord^H136 Jehovah^H3069 called^H7121 to contend^H7378 by fire;^H784 and it devoured^H398 the great^H7227 deep,^H8415 and would have eaten up^H398 the land.^H2506

For entangled^H5440 like thorns,^H5518 and drunken^H5433 as with their drink,^H5435 they are consumed^H398 utterly^H4392 as dry^H3002 stubble.^H7179

So^G3779 shall it be^G2071 in^G1722 the end^G4930 of the world:^G165 the angels^G32 shall come forth,^G1831 and^G2532 sever^G873 the wicked^G4190 from^G1537 among^G3319 the righteous,^G1342

And if^G1437 thy^G4675 hand^G5495 cause thee^G4571 to stumble,^G4624 cut^G609 it^G846 off:^G609 it is^G2076 good^G2570 for thee^G4671 to enter^G1525 into^G1519 life^G2222 maimed,^G2948 rather than^G2228 having^G2192 thy two^G1417 hands^G5495 to go^G565 into^G1519 hell,^G1067 into^G1519 the unquenchable^G762 fire.^G4442

and^G2532 the smoke^G2586 of their^G846 torment^G929 goeth up^G305 for^G1519 ever^G165 and ever;^G165 and^G2532 they have^G2192 no^G3756 rest^G372 day^G2250 and^G2532 night,^G3571 they^G3588 that worship^G4352 the beast^G2342 and^G2532 his^G846 image,^G1504 and^G2532 whoso^G1536 receiveth^G2983 the mark^G5480 of his^G846 name.^G3686
