And his brethren^H251 envied^H7065 him; but his father^H1 kept^H8104 the saying^H1697 in mind.

And he said,^H559 Come^H3212 with me, and see^H7200 my zeal^H7068 for Jehovah.^H3068 So they made him ride^H7392 in his chariot.^H7393

For vexation^H3708 killeth^H2026 the foolish man,^H191 And jealousy^H7068 slayeth^H4191 the silly one.^H6601

Wrath^H2534 is cruel,^H395 and anger^H639 is overwhelming;^H7858 But who is able to stand^H5975 before^H6440 jealousy?^H7068

Why dost thou show^H7200 me iniquity,^H205 and look^H5027 upon perverseness?^H5999 for destruction^H7701 and violence^H2555 are before me; and there is strife,^H7379 and contention^H4066 riseth up.^H5375

They shall put^G4160 you^G5209 out of the synagogues:^G656 yea,^G235 the hour^G5610 cometh,^G2064 that^G2443 whosoever^G3956 killeth^G615 you^G5209 shall think^G1380 that he offereth^G4374 service^G2999 unto God.^G2316

And^G2532 the patriarchs,^G3966 moved with jealousy^G2206 against Joseph,^G2501 sold^G591 him into^G1519 Egypt:^G125 and^G2532 God^G2316 was^G2258 with^G3326 him,^G846

I^G1473 verily^{G3767 G3303} thought^G1380 with myself^G1683 that I ought^G1163 to do^G4238 many things^G4183 contrary^G1727 to^G4314 the name^G3686 of Jesus^G2424 of Nazareth.^G3480

but^G1161 unto them^G3588 that are factious,^G2052 and^G2532 obey^G544 not the truth,^G225 but^G1161 obey^G3982 unrighteousness,^G93 [shall be] wrath^G3709 and^G2532 indignation,^G2372

thou who^G3739 gloriest^G2744 in^G1722 the law,^G3551 through^G1223 thy transgression^G3847 of the law^G3551 dishonorest thou^G818 God?^G2316

for^G1063 ye are^G2075 yet^G2089 carnal:^G4559 for^G1063 whereas^G3699 there is among^G1722 you^G5213 jealousy^G2205 and^G2532 strife,^G2054 are ye^G2075 not^G3780 carnal,^G4559 and^G2532 do ye not walk^G4043 after the manner^G2596 of men?^G444

And^G2532 ye^G5210 are^G2075 puffed up,^G5448 and^G2532 did^G3996 not^G3780 rather^G3123 mourn,^G3996 that^G2443 he that had done^G4160 this^G5124 deed^G2041 might be taken away^G1808 from^G1537 among^G3319 you.^G5216

Love^G26 suffereth long,^G3114 [and] is kind;^G5541 love^G26 envieth^G2206 not;^G3756 love^G26 vaunteth^G4068 not^G3756 itself,^G4068 is^G5448 not^G3756 puffed up,^G5448

But^G1161 if^G1487 ye bite^G1143 and^G2532 devour^G2719 one another,^G240 take heed^G991 that ye be^G355 not^G3361 consumed^G355 one^G240 of^G5259 another.^G240

Let us^G1096 not^G3361 become^G1096 vainglorious,^G2755 provoking^G4292 one another,^G240 envying^G5354 one another.^G240

Some^G5100 indeed^G3303 preach^G2784 Christ^G5547 even^G2532 of^G1223 envy^G5355 and^G2532 strife;^G2054 and^G1161 some^G5100 also^G2532 of^G1223 good will:^G2107

he is puffed^G5187 up, knowing^G1987 nothing,^G3367 but^G235 doting^G3552 about^G4012 questionings^G2214 and^G2532 disputes of words,^G3055 whereof^{G3739 G1537} cometh^G1096 envy,^G5355 strife,^G2054 railings,^G988 evil^G4190 surmisings,^G5283

For^G1063 where^G3699 jealousy^G2205 and^G2532 faction^G2052 are, there^G1563 is confusion^G181 and^G2532 every^G3956 vile^G5337 deed.^G4229

My brethren,^G80 if^G1437 any^G5100 among^G1722 you^G5213 err^G4105 from^G575 the truth,^G225 and^G2532 one^G5100 convert^G1994 him;^G846
