He was oppressed,^H5065 yet when he was afflicted^H6031 he opened^H6605 not his mouth;^H6310 as a lamb^H7716 that is led^H2986 to the slaughter,^H2874 and as a sheep^H7353 that before^H6440 its shearers^H1494 is dumb,^H481 so he opened^H6605 not his mouth.^H6310

But^G1161 the husbandmen,^G1092 when^G1492 they saw^G1492 the son,^G5207 said^G2036 among^G1722 themselves,^G1438 This^G3778 is^G2076 the heir;^G2818 come,^G1205 let us kill^G615 him,^G846 and^G2532 take^G2722 his^G846 inheritance.^G2817

Or thinkest thou^G1380 that^G3754 I cannot^G3756 beseech^G3870 my^G3450 Father,^G3962 and^G2532 he shall even now send^G3936 me^G3427 more^G4119 than^G2228 twelve^G1427 legions^G3003 of angels?^G32

So when^G1161 Pilate^G4091 saw^G1492 that^G3754 he prevailed^G5623 nothing,^G3762 but^G235 rather^G3123 that a tumult^G2351 was arising,^G1096 he took^G2983 water,^G5204 and washed^G633 his hands^G5495 before^G561 the multitude,^G3793 saying,^G3004 I am^G1510 innocent^G121 of^G575 the blood^G129 of this^G5127 righteous man;^G1342 see^G3700 ye^G5210 [to it].

They shall put^G4160 you^G5209 out of the synagogues:^G656 yea,^G235 the hour^G5610 cometh,^G2064 that^G2443 whosoever^G3956 killeth^G615 you^G5209 shall think^G1380 that he offereth^G4374 service^G2999 unto God.^G2316

Ye men^G435 of Israel,^G2475 hear^G191 these^G5128 words:^G3056 Jesus^G2424 of^G575 Nazareth,^G3480 a man^G435 approved^G584 of^G575 God^G2316 unto you^G5209 by^G584 mighty works^G1411 and^G2532 wonders^G5059 and^G2532 signs^G1411 which^G3739 God^G2316 did^G4160 by^G1223 him^G846 in^G1722 the midst^G3319 of you,^G5216 even^G2532 as^G2531 ye yourselves^G846 know;^G1492

Now the passage^G4042 of the Scripture^G1124 which^G3739 he was reading^G314 was^G2258 this,^G3778 He was led^G71 as^G5613 a sheep^G4263 to^G1909 the slaughter;^G4967 And^G2532 as^G5613 a lamb^G286 before^G1726 his^G846 shearer^G2751 is dumb,^G880 So^G3779 he^G455 openeth not^G3756 his^G846 mouth:^G4750

And^G1161 he said,^G2036 The God^G2316 of our^G2257 fathers^G3962 hath appointed^G4400 thee^G4571 to know^G1097 his^G846 will,^G2307 and^G2532 to see^G1492 the^G3588 Righteous One,^G1342 and^G2532 to hear^G191 a voice^G5456 from^G1537 his^G846 mouth.^G4750

But^G2532 my righteous^G1342 one shall live^G2198 by^G1537 faith:^G4102 And^G2532 if^G1437 he shrink back,^G5288 my^G3450 soul^G5590 hath^G2106 no^G3756 pleasure^G2106 in^G1722 him.^G846

Ye lust,^G1937 and^G2532 have^G2192 not:^G3756 ye kill,^G5407 and^G2532 covet,^G2206 and^G2532 cannot^{G1410 G3756} obtain:^G2013 ye fight^G3164 and^G2532 war;^{G4170 G1161} ye have^G2192 not,^G3756 because^G1223 ye^G5209 ask^G154 not.^G3756
