for^G1063 as^G5618 Jonah^G2495 was^G2258 three^G5140 days^G2250 and^G2532 three^G5140 nights^G3571 in^G1722 the belly^G2836 of the whale;^G2785 so^G3779 shall^G2071 the Son^G5207 of man^G444 be^G2071 three^G5140 days^G2250 and^G2532 three^G5140 nights^G3571 in^G1722 the heart^G2588 of the earth.^G1093

and^G2532 saying,^G3004 Thou that destroyest^G2647 the temple,^G3485 and^G2532 buildest^G3618 it in^G1722 three^G5140 days,^G2250 save^G4982 thyself:^G4572 if^G1487 thou art^G1488 the Son^G5207 of God,^G2316 come down^G2597 from^G575 the cross.^G4716

And^G2532 he began^G756 to teach^G1321 them,^G846 that^G3754 the Son^G5207 of man^G444 must^G1163 suffer^G3958 many things,^G4183 and^G2532 be rejected^G593 by^G575 the elders,^G4245 and^G2532 the chief priests,^G749 and^G2532 the scribes,^G1122 and^G2532 be killed,^G615 and^G2532 after^G3326 three^G5140 days^G2250 rise again.^G450

And^G2532 they that^G3588 passed by^G3899 railed on^G987 him,^G846 wagging^G2795 their^G846 heads,^G2776 and^G2532 saying,^G3004 Ha!^G3758 Thou that^G3588 destroyest^G2647 the temple,^G3485 and^G2532 buildest^G3618 it in^G1722 three^G5140 days,^G2250

Therefore^G1223 doth^G25 the Father^G3962 love^G25 me,^G3165 because^G3754 I^G1473 lay down^G5087 my^G3450 life,^G5590 that^G2443 I may take^G2983 it^G846 again.^G5124

But^G1161 if^G1487 the Spirit^G4151 of him that raised up^G1453 Jesus^G2424 from^G1537 the dead^G3498 dwelleth^G3611 in^G1722 you,^G5213 he that raised up^G1453 Christ^G5547 Jesus from^G1537 the dead^G3498 shall^G2227 give life^G2227 also^G2532 to your^G5216 mortal^G2349 bodies^G4983 through^G1223 his^G846 Spirit^G4151 that dwelleth^G1774 in^G1722 you.^G5213

Now^G1161 if^G1487 Christ^G5547 is preached^G2784 that^G3754 he hath been raised^G1453 from^G1537 the dead,^G3498 how^G4459 say^G3004 some^G5100 among^G1722 you^G5213 that^G3754 there is^G2076 no^G3756 resurrection^G386 of the dead?^G3498

Because^G3754 Christ^G5547 also^{G2532 G3958} suffered^G3958 for^G3754 sins^G266 once,^G530 the righteous^G1342 for^G4012 the unrighteous,^G94 that^G2443 he might bring^G4317 us^G2248 to God;^G2316 being put to death^G2289 in the flesh,^G4561 but^G1161 made alive^G2227 in the spirit;^G4151
