Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 For three^H7969 transgressions^H6588 of Edom,^H123 yea, for four,^H702 I will not turn away^H7725 the punishment thereof; because he did pursue^H7291 his brother^H251 with the sword,^H2719 and did cast off^H7843 all pity,^H7356 and his anger^H639 did tear^H2963 perpetually,^H5703 and he kept^H8104 his wrath^H5678 for ever:^H5331

For the violence^H2555 done to thy brother^H251 Jacob,^H3290 shame^H955 shall cover^H3680 thee, and thou shalt be cut off^H3772 for ever.^H5769

Pass away,^H5674 O inhabitant^H3427 of Shaphir,^H8208 in nakedness^H6181 and shame:^H1322 the inhabitant^H3427 of Zaanan^H6630 is not come forth;^H3318 the wailing^H4553 of Beth-ezel^H1018 shall take^H3947 from you the stay^H5979 thereof.
