And we said^H559 unto my lord,^H113 We have^H3426 a father,^H1 an old man,^H2205 and a child^H3206 of his old age,^H2208 a little one;^H6996 and his brother^H251 is dead,^H4191 and he alone is left^H3498 of his mother;^H517 and his father^H1 loveth^H157 him.

Betwixt morning^H1242 and evening^H6153 they are destroyed:^H3807 They perish^H6 for ever^H5331 without any regarding^H7760 it.

As for man,^H582 his days^H3117 are as grass;^H2682 As a flower^H6731 of the field,^H7704 so he flourisheth.^H6692

Son^H1121 of man,^H120 behold, I take away^H3947 from thee the desire^H4261 of thine eyes^H5869 with a stroke:^H4046 yet thou shalt neither mourn^H5594 nor weep,^H1058 neither shall thy tears^H1832 run down.^H935

And I will pour^H8210 upon the house^H1004 of David,^H1732 and upon the inhabitants^H3427 of Jerusalem,^H3389 the spirit^H7307 of grace^H2580 and of supplication;^H8469 and they shall look^H5027 unto me whom they have pierced;^H1856 and they shall mourn^H4553 for him, as one mourneth^H5594 for his only^H3173 son, and shall be in bitterness^H4843 for him, as one that is in bitterness^H4843 for his first-born.^H1060

Now^G1161 when^G5613 he drew near^G1448 to the gate^G4439 of the city,^G2532 behold,^G2400 there was^G1580 carried out^G1580 one^G2348 that was dead, the only^G3439 son^G5207 of his^G846 mother,^G3384 and^G2532 she^G846 was^G2258 a^G3778 widow:^G5503 and^G2532 much^G2425 people^G3793 of the city^G4172 was^G2258 with^G4862 her.^G846

Therefore,^G5124 as^G5618 through^G1223 one^G1520 man^G444 sin^G266 entered^G1525 into^G1519 the world,^G2889 and^G2532 death^G2288 through^G1223 sin;^G266 and^G2532 so^G3779 death^G2288 passed^G1330 unto^G1519 all^G3956 men,^G444 for^G1909 that^G3739 all^G3956 sinned: —^G264
