Ho Assyrian,^H804 the rod^H7626 of^H1945 mine anger,^H639 the staff^H4294 in whose hand^H3027 is mine indignation!^H2195

Thou art my battle-axe^H4661 and weapons^H3627 of war:^H4421 and with thee will I break in pieces^H5310 the nations;^H1471 and with thee will I destroy^H7843 kingdoms;^H4467

And Jehovah^H3068 uttereth^H5414 his voice^H6963 before^H6440 his army;^H2428 for his camp^H4264 is very^H3966 great;^H7227 for he is strong^H6099 that executeth^H6213 his word;^H1697 for the day^H3117 of Jehovah^H3068 is great^H1419 and very^H3966 terrible;^H3372 and who can abide^H3557 it?

I will gather^H6908 all nations,^H1471 and will bring them down^H3381 into the valley^H6010 of Jehoshaphat;^H3092 and I will execute judgment^H8199 upon them there for my people^H5971 and for my heritage^H5159 Israel,^H3478 whom they have scattered^H6340 among the nations:^H1471 and they have parted^H2505 my land,^H776

When^G3752 therefore^G3767 the lord^G2962 of the vineyard^G290 shall come,^G2064 what^G5101 will he do^G4160 unto^G1092 those^G1565 husbandmen?^G1092

saying,^G3754 If^G1487 thou hadst known^G1097 in^G1722 this^{G3778 G4675} day,^G2250 even^G2532 thou,^G2532 the^G1065 things^G3588 which belong unto^{G4314 G4675} peace!^G1515 but^G1161 now^G3568 they are hid^G2928 from^G575 thine^G4675 eyes.^G3788

And^G2532 they shall fall^G4098 by the edge^G4750 of the sword,^G3162 and^G2532 shall be led captive^G163 into^G1519 all^G3956 the nations:^G1484 and^G2532 Jerusalem^G2419 shall be^G2071 trodden down^G3961 of^G5259 the Gentiles,^G1484 until^G891 the times^G2540 of the Gentiles^G1484 be fulfilled.^G4137

For^G3754 the time^G2540 [is come] for judgment^G2917 to begin^G756 at^G575 the house^G3624 of God:^G2316 and^G1161 if^G1487 [it begin] first^G4412 at^G575 us,^G2257 what^G5101 [shall be] the end^G5056 of them that obey not^G544 the gospel^G2098 of God?^G2316
