The first-ripe^H1061 fruits of all that is in their land,^H776 which they bring^H935 unto Jehovah,^H3068 shall be thine; every one that is clean^H2889 in thy house^H1004 shall eat^H398 thereof.

Most^H7230 men^H120 will proclaim^H7121 every one^H376 his own kindness;^H2617 But a faithful^H529 man^H376 who can find?^H4672

Yet there shall be left^H7604 therein gleanings,^H5955 as the shaking^H5363 of an olive-tree,^H2132 two^H8147 or three^H7969 berries^H1620 in the top^H7218 of the uppermost bough,^H534 four^H702 or five^H2568 in the outmost branches^H5585 of a fruitful^H6509 tree, saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of Israel.^H3478

From the uttermost part^H3671 of the earth^H776 have we heard^H8085 songs:^H2158 Glory^H6643 to the righteous.^H6662 But I said,^H559 I pine^H7334 away, I pine^H7334 away, woe^H188 is me! the treacherous^H898 have dealt treacherously;^H898 yea, the treacherous^H898 have dealt very^H899 treacherously.^H898

For I have heard^H8085 a voice^H6963 as of a woman in travail,^H2470 the anguish^H6869 as of her that bringeth forth her first child,^H1069 the voice^H6963 of the daughter^H1323 of Zion,^H6726 that gaspeth^H3306 for breath, that spreadeth^H6566 her hands,^H3709 [saying], Woe^H188 is me now! for my soul^H5315 fainteth^H5888 before the murderers.^H2026

Woe^H188 is me, my mother,^H517 that thou hast borne^H3205 me a man^H376 of strife^H7379 and a man^H376 of contention^H4066 to the whole earth!^H776 I have not lent,^H5383 neither have men lent^H5383 to me; [yet] every one of them doth curse^H7043 me.

I found^H4672 Israel^H3478 like grapes^H6025 in the wilderness;^H4057 I saw^H7200 your fathers^H1 as the first-ripe^H1063 in the fig-tree^H8384 at its first season:^H7225 but they came^H935 to Baal-peor,^H1187 and consecrated^H5144 themselves unto the shameful^H1322 thing, and became abominable^H8251 like that which they loved.^H157
