And he said,^H559 Show^H7200 me, I pray thee,^H4994 thy glory.^H3519

And he said,^H559 If now I have found^H4672 favor^H2580 in thy sight,^H5869 O Lord,^H136 let the Lord,^H136 I pray thee, go^H3212 in the midst^H7130 of us; for it is a stiffnecked^H7186 people;^H5971 and pardon^H5545 our iniquity^H5771 and our sin,^H2403 and take us for thine inheritance.^H5157

He hath not beheld^H5027 iniquity^H205 in Jacob;^H3290 Neither hath he seen^H7200 perverseness^H5999 in Israel:^H3478 Jehovah^H3068 his God^H430 is with him, And the shout^H8643 of a king^H4428 is among them.

And they put away^H5493 the foreign^H5236 gods^H430 from among^H7130 them, and served^H5647 Jehovah;^H3068 and his soul^H5315 was grieved^H7114 for the misery^H5999 of Israel.^H3478

and refused^H3985 to obey,^H8085 neither were mindful^H2142 of thy wonders^H6381 that thou didst^H6213 among them, but hardened^H7185 their neck,^H6203 and in their rebellion^H4805 appointed^H5414 a captain^H7218 to return^H7725 to their bondage.^H5659 But thou art a God^H433 ready to pardon,^H5547 gracious^H2587 and merciful,^H7349 slow^H750 to anger,^H639 and abundant^H7227 in lovingkindness,^H2617 and forsookest^H5800 them not.

Iniquities^H1697 prevail^H1396 against me: As for our transgressions,^H6588 thou wilt forgive^H3722 them.

Thy righteousness^H6666 also, O God,^H430 is very high;^H4791 Thou who hast done^H6213 great things,^H1419 O God,^H430 who is like unto thee?

Turn^H7725 us, O God^H430 of our salvation,^H3468 And cause thine indignation^H3708 toward us to cease.^H6565

But thou, O Lord,^H136 art a God^H410 merciful^H7349 and gracious,^H2587 Slow^H750 to anger, and abundant^H7227 in lovingkindness^H2617 and truth.^H571

O Jehovah^H3068 God^H430 of hosts,^H6635 Who is a mighty^H2626 one, like unto thee, O Jehovah?^H3050 And thy faithfulness^H530 is round about^H5439 thee.

Jehovah^H3068 is merciful^H7349 and gracious,^H2587 Slow^H750 to anger,^H639 and abundant^H7227 in lovingkindness.^H2617

Like as a father^H1 pitieth^H7355 his children,^H1121 So Jehovah^H3068 pitieth^H7355 them that fear^H3373 him.

But there is forgiveness^H5547 with thee, That thou mayest be feared.^H3372

Come now,^H3212 and let us reason together,^H3198 saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 though your sins^H2399 be as scarlet,^H8144 they shall be as white^H3835 as snow;^H7950 though they be red^H119 like crimson,^H8438 they shall be as wool.^H6785

To whom then will ye liken^H1819 God?^H410 or what likeness^H1823 will ye compare^H6186 unto him?

I, even I, am he that blotteth out^H4229 thy transgressions^H6588 for mine own sake; and I will not remember^H2142 thy sins.^H2403

Remember^H2142 this, and show yourselves men;^H377 bring it again^H7725 to mind,^H3820 O ye transgressors.^H6586

Thou wast wearied^H3021 with the length^H7230 of thy way;^H1870 yet saidst^H559 thou not, It is in vain:^H2976 thou didst find^H4672 a quickening^H2416 of thy strength;^H3027 therefore thou wast not faint.^H2470

For as a young man^H970 marrieth^H1166 a virgin,^H1330 so shall thy sons^H1121 marry^H1166 thee; and as the bridegroom^H2860 rejoiceth^H4885 over the bride,^H3618 so shall thy God^H430 rejoice^H7797 over thee.

Will he retain^H5201 [his anger] for ever?^H5769 will he keep^H8104 it to the end?^H5331 Behold, thou hast spoken^H1696 and hast done^H6213 evil things,^H7451 and hast had thy way.^H3201

and they shall teach^H3925 no more every man^H376 his neighbor,^H7453 and every man^H376 his brother,^H251 saying,^H559 Know^H3045 Jehovah;^H3068 for they shall all know^H3045 me, from the least^H6996 of them unto the greatest^H1419 of them, saith^H5002 Jehovah:^H3068 for I will forgive^H5545 their iniquity,^H5771 and their sin^H2403 will I remember^H2142 no more.

Ebed-melech^H5663 went forth^H3318 out of the king's^H4428 house,^H1004 and spake^H1696 to the king,^H4428 saying,^H559

For the Lord^H136 will not cast off^H2186 for ever.^H5769

None of his sins^H2403 that he hath committed^H2398 shall be remembered^H2142 against him: he hath done^H6213 that which is lawful^H4941 and right;^H6666 he shall surely^H2421 live.^H2421

I will be as the dew^H2919 unto Israel;^H3478 he shall blossom^H6524 as the lily,^H7799 and cast forth^H5221 his roots^H8328 as Lebanon.^H3844

And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto me, Amos,^H5986 what seest^H7200 thou? And I said,^H559 A plumb-line.^H594 Then said^H559 the Lord,^H136 Behold, I will set^H7760 a plumb-line^H594 in the midst^H7130 of my people^H5971 Israel;^H3478 I will not again^H3254 pass by^H5674 them any more;

And he prayed^H6419 unto Jehovah,^H3068 and said,^H559 I pray^H577 thee, O Jehovah,^H3068 was not this my saying,^H1697 when I was yet in my country?^H127 Therefore I hasted^H1272 to^H6923 flee unto Tarshish;^H8659 for I knew^H3045 that thou art a gracious^H2587 God,^H410 and merciful,^H7349 slow^H750 to anger,^H639 and abundant^H7227 in lovingkindness,^H2617 and repentest^H5162 thee of the evil.^H7451

and I will make^H7760 that which was lame^H6760 a remnant,^H7611 and that which was cast far off^H1972 a strong^H6099 nation:^H1471 and Jehovah^H3068 will reign^H4427 over them in mount^H2022 Zion^H6726 from henceforth even for^H5704 ever.^H5769

And the remnant^H7611 of Jacob^H3290 shall be in the midst^H7130 of many^H7227 peoples^H5971 as dew^H2919 from Jehovah,^H3068 as showers^H7241 upon the grass,^H6212 that tarry^H6960 not for man,^H376 nor wait^H3176 for the sons^H1121 of men.^H120

Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 is in the midst^H7130 of thee, a mighty^H1368 one who will save;^H3467 he will rejoice^H7797 over thee with joy;^H8057 he will rest^H2790 in his love;^H160 he will joy^H1523 over thee with singing.^H7440

And^G2532 when she hath found^G2147 it, she calleth^G4779 together^G4779 her friends^G5384 and^G2532 neighbors,^G1069 saying,^G3004 Rejoice with^G4796 me,^G3427 for^G3754 I have found^G2147 the piece^G1406 which^G3739 I had lost.^G622

But it was meet^G1163 to make merry^G2165 and^G2532 be glad:^G5463 for^G3754 this^G3778 thy^G4675 brother^G80 was^G2258 dead,^G3498 and^G2532 is alive [again];^G326 and^G2532 [was]^G2258 lost,^G622 and^G2532 is found.^G2147

Be it^G2077 known^G1110 unto you^G5213 therefore,^{G3767 G435} brethren,^G80 that^G3754 through^G1223 this man^G435 is proclaimed^G2605 unto you^G5213 remission^G859 of sins:^G266

but^G1161 God,^G2316 being^G5607 rich^G4145 in^G1722 mercy,^G1656 for^G1223 his^G846 great^G4183 love^G26 wherewith^G3739 he loved^G25 us,^G2248

For^G1063 judgment^G2920 [is] without mercy^G448 to him^G4160 that hath showed^G4160 no^G3361 mercy:^{G1656 G2532} mercy^G1656 glorieth against^G2620 judgment.^G2920
