But Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto Samuel,^H8050 Look^H5027 not on his countenance,^H4758 or on the height^H1364 of his stature;^H6967 because I have rejected^H3988 him: for [Jehovah seeth] not as man^H120 seeth;^H7200 for man^H120 looketh^H7200 on the outward appearance,^H5869 but Jehovah^H3068 looketh^H7200 on the heart.^H3824

For the work^H6467 of a man^H120 will he render^H7999 unto him, And cause every man^H376 to find^H4672 according to his ways.^H734

Thou hast proved^H974 my heart;^H3820 Thou hast visited^H6485 me in the night;^H3915 Thou hast tried^H6884 me, and findest^H4672 nothing; I am purposed^H2161 that my mouth^H6310 shall not transgress.^H5674

Also unto thee, O Lord,^H136 belongeth lovingkindness;^H2617 For thou renderest^H7999 to every man^H376 according to his work.^H4639

He will not suffer^H5414 thy foot^H7272 to be moved:^H4132 He that keepeth^H8104 thee will not slumber.^H5123

For the ways^H1870 of man^H376 are before^H5227 the eyes^H5869 of Jehovah;^H3068 And he maketh level^H6424 all his paths.^H4570

All the ways^H1870 of a man^H376 are clean^H2134 in his own eyes;^H5869 But Jehovah^H3068 weigheth^H8505 the spirits.^H7307

If thou seest^H7200 the oppression^H6233 of the poor,^H7326 and the violent^H1499 taking away of justice^H6664 and righteousness^H4941 in a province,^H4082 marvel^H8539 not at the matter:^H2656 for one higher^H1364 than the high^H1364 regardeth;^H8104 and there are higher^H1364 than they.^H5921

great^H1419 in counsel,^H6098 and mighty^H7227 in work;^H5950 whose eyes^H5869 are open^H6491 upon all the ways^H1870 of the sons^H1121 of men,^H120 to give^H5414 every one^H376 according to his ways,^H1870 and according to the fruit^H6529 of his doings:^H4611

but hast lifted up^H7313 thyself against^H5922 the Lord^H4756 of heaven;^H8065 and they have brought^H858 the vessels^H3984 of his house^H1005 before^H6925 thee, and thou^H607 and thy lords,^H7261 thy wives^H7695 and thy concubines,^H3904 have drunk^H8355 wine^H2562 from them; and thou hast praised^H7624 the gods^H426 of silver^H3702 and gold,^H1722 of brass,^H5174 iron,^H6523 wood,^H636 and stone,^H69 which see^H2370 not,^H3809 nor^H3809 hear,^H8086 nor^H3809 know;^H3046 and the God^H426 in whose hand^H3028 thy breath^H5396 is, and whose are all^H3606 thy ways,^H735 hast thou not^H3809 glorified.^H1922

for^G1063 in^G1722 him^G846 we live,^G2198 and^G2532 move,^G2795 and^G2532 have our being;^G2070 as^G5613 certain^G5100 even^G2532 of^G2596 your own^G5209 poets^G4163 have said,^G2046 For^G1063 we are^G2070 also^G2532 his offspring.^G1085

in^G1722 the day^G2250 when^G3753 God^G2316 shall judge^G2919 the secrets^G2927 of men,^G444 according^G2596 to my^G3450 gospel,^G2098 by^G1223 Jesus^G2424 Christ.^G5547

For^G1063 we^G2248 must^G1163 all^G3956 be made manifest^G5319 before^G1715 the judgment-seat^G968 of Christ;^G5547 that^G2443 each one^G1538 may receive^G2865 the things^G3588 [done] in^G1223 the body,^G4983 according^G4314 to what^G3739 he hath done,^G4238 whether^G1535 [it be] good^G18 or^G1535 bad.^G2556

and^G2532 the Living^G2198 one; and^G2532 I was^G1096 dead,^G3498 and^G2532 behold,^G2400 I am^G1510 alive^G2198 for^G1519 evermore,^G165 G0 ^G281 and^G2532 I have^G2192 the keys^G2807 of death^G2532 and^G2532 of Hades.^G86

And^G2532 I will kill^G615 her^G846 children^G5043 with^G1722 death;^G2288 and^G2532 all^G3956 the churches^G1577 shall know^G1097 that^G3754 I^G1473 am^G1510 he that searcheth^G2045 the reins^G3510 and^G2532 hearts:^G2588 and^G2532 I will give^G1325 unto^G5213 each one of^G1538 you^G5213 according to^G2596 your^G5216 works.^G2041

^G2532 Behold,^G2400 I come^G2064 quickly;^G5035 and^G2532 my^G3450 reward^G3408 is with^G3326 me,^G1700 to render^G591 to each man^G1538 according as^G5613 his^G846 work^G2041 is.^G2071
