And Israel^H3478 saw^H7200 the great^H1419 work^H3027 which Jehovah^H3068 did^H6213 upon the Egyptians,^H4714 and the people^H5971 feared^H3372 Jehovah:^H3068 and they believed^H539 in Jehovah,^H3068 and in his servant^H5650 Moses.^H4872

and they said^H559 unto him, Behold, thou art old,^H2204 and thy sons^H1121 walk^H1980 not in thy ways:^H1870 now make^H7760 us a king^H4428 to judge^H8199 us like all the nations.^H1471

And he said^H559 unto his men,^H582 Jehovah^H3068 forbid^H2486 that I should do^H6213 this thing^H1697 unto my lord,^H113 Jehovah's^H3068 anointed,^H4899 to put forth^H7971 my hand^H3027 against him, seeing he is Jehovah's^H3068 anointed.^H4899

For the battle^H4421 was there spread^H6327 over the face^H6440 of all the country;^H776 and the forest^H3293 devoured^H398 more^H7235 people^H5971 that day^H3117 than the sword^H2719 devoured.^H398

And^H7725 when all Israel^H3478 saw^H7200 that the king^H4428 hearkened^H8085 not unto them, the people^H5971 answered^H1697 the king,^H4428 saying,^H559 What portion^H2506 have we in David?^H1732 neither have we inheritance^H5159 in the son^H1121 of Jesse:^H3448 to your tents,^H168 O Israel:^H3478 now see^H7200 to thine own house,^H1004 David.^H1732 So Israel^H3478 departed^H3212 unto their tents.^H168

Let not thy heart^H3820 envy^H7065 sinners;^H2400 But [be thou] in the fear^H3374 of Jehovah^H3068 all the day^H3117 long:

Be not hasty^H926 to go out^H3212 of his presence;^H6440 persist^H5975 not in an evil^H7451 thing:^H1697 for he doeth^H6213 whatsoever pleaseth^H2654 him.

Let^G5293 every^G3956 soul^G5590 be in subjection to^G5293 the higher^G5242 powers:^G1849 for^G1063 there is^G2076 no^G3756 power^{G1849 G1487} but^G3361 of^G575 God;^G2316 and the powers^G1849 that be^G5607 are^G1526 ordained^G5021 of^G5259 God.^G2316

Be subject^G5293 to every^G3956 ordinance^G2937 of man^G442 for^G1223 the Lord's sake:^G2962 whether^G1535 to the king,^G935 as^G5613 supreme;^G5242
