Therefore,^G5124 behold,^G2400 I^G1473 send^G649 unto^G4314 you^G5209 prophets,^G4396 and^G2532 wise men,^G4680 and^G2532 scribes:^G1122 some of^G1537 them^G846 shall ye kill^G615 and^G2532 crucify;^G4717 and^G2532 some of^G1537 them^G846 shall ye scourge^G3146 in^G1722 your^G5216 synagogues,^G4864 and^G2532 persecute^G1377 from^G575 city^G4172 to^G1519 city:^G4172

Therefore^{G1223 G5124} also^G2532 said^G2036 the wisdom^G4678 of God,^G2316 I^G5124 will send^G649 unto them^G846 prophets^G4396 and^G2532 apostles;^G652 and^G2532 [some] of^G1537 them^G846 they shall kill^G615 and^G2532 persecute;^G1559

Now^G1161 in^G1722 these^G3778 days^G2250 there came^G2718 down prophets^G4396 from^G575 Jerusalem^G2414 unto^G1519 Antioch.^G490

And^G5037 Judas^G2455 and^G2532 Silas,^G4609 being^G5607 themselves^G846 also^G2532 prophets,^G4396 exhorted^G3870 the brethren^G80 with^G1223 many^G4183 words,^G3056 and^G2532 confirmed^G1991 them.

Now^G1161 this man^G5129 had^G2258 four^G5064 virgin^G3933 daughters,^G2364 who prophesied.^G4395

For^G1063 I say,^G3004 through^G1223 the grace^G5485 that was given^G1325 me,^G3427 to every man^G3956 that is^G5607 among^G1722 you,^G5213 not^G3361 to think^G5252 of himself more highly^G5252 than^G3844 he ought^G1163 to think;^G5426 but^G235 so to think as to think^{G5426 G1519} soberly,^G4993 according as^G5613 God^G2316 hath dealt^G3307 to each man^G1538 a measure^G3358 of faith.^G4102

Now^G1161 these things,^G5023 brethren,^G80 I have in a figure transferred^G3345 to^G1519 myself^G1683 and^G2532 Apollos^G625 for^G1223 your sakes;^G5209 that^G2443 in^G1722 us^G2254 ye might learn^G3129 not^G3361 [to go]^G5426 beyond^G5228 the things which^G3739 are written;^G1125 that^G2443 no^G3361 one^G1520 of you be puffed up^G5448 for^G5228 the one^G1520 against^G2596 the other.^G2087

Now^G1161 there are^G1526 diversities^G1243 of gifts,^G5486 but^G1161 the same^G846 Spirit.^G4151

And^G2532 if^G1437 I have^G2192 [the gift of] prophecy,^G4394 and^G2532 know^G1492 all^G3956 mysteries^G3466 and^G2532 all^G3956 knowledge;^G1108 and^G2532 if^G1437 I have^G2192 all^G3956 faith,^G4102 so as^G5620 to remove^G3179 mountains,^G3735 but^G1161 have^G2192 not^G3361 love,^G26 I am^G1510 nothing.^G3762

But^G1161 he that^G3588 prophesieth^G4395 speaketh^G2980 unto men^G444 edification,^G3619 and^G2532 exhortation,^G3874 and^G2532 consolation.^G3889

And let^G1161 the prophets^G4396 speak^G2980 [by] two^G1417 or^G2228 three,^G5140 and^G2532 let^G1252 the others^G243 discern.^G1252

For^G1063 if^G1487 the readiness^G4288 is there,^G4295 [it is] acceptable^G2144 according as^G2526 [a man]^G5100 hath,^G1437 not^G3756 according as^G2526 [he] hath^G2192 not.^G3756

And^G2532 he^G846 gave^G1325 some^G3303 [to be] apostles;^G652 and^G1161 some,^G3588 prophets;^G4396 and^G1161 some,^G3588 evangelists;^G2099 and^G1161 some,^G3588 pastors^G4166 and^G2532 teachers;^G1320

despise^G1848 not^G3361 prophesyings;^G4394
