And Pharaoh^H6547 called^H7121 Abram,^H87 and said,^H559 What is this that thou hast done^H6213 unto me? why didst thou not tell^H5046 me that she was thy wife?^H802

Then Abimelech^H40 called^H7121 Abraham,^H85 and said^H559 unto him, What hast thou done^H6213 unto us? and wherein have I sinned^H2398 against thee, that thou hast brought^H935 on me and on my kingdom^H4467 a great^H1419 sin?^H2401 thou hast done^H6213 deeds^H4639 unto me that ought not to be done.^H6213

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Let not the wise^H2450 man glory^H1984 in his wisdom,^H2451 neither let the mighty^H1368 man glory^H1984 in his might,^H1369 let not the rich^H6223 man glory^H1984 in his riches;^H6239

because^G1360 by^G1537 the works^G2041 of the law^G3551 shall^G1344 no^G3756 flesh^G4561 be justified^G1344 in^G1799 his^G846 sight;^G1799 for^G1063 through^G1223 the law^G3551 [cometh] the knowledge^G1922 of sin.^G266

that^G3704 no^{G3361 G3956} flesh^G4561 should glory^G2744 before^G1799 God.^G846

For^G1063 who^G5101 maketh^G1252 thee^G4571 to differ?^G1252 and^G1161 what^G5101 hast thou^G2192 that^G3739 thou^G2192 didst^G2983 not^G3756 receive?^G2983 but if^{G1487 G2532} thou didst receive^G2983 it, why^G5101 dost thou glory^G2744 as if^G5613 thou hadst^G2983 not^G3361 received^G2983 it?

We^G1063 are not^G3756 again^G3825 commending^G4921 ourselves^G1438 unto you,^G5213 but^G235 [speak] as giving^G1325 you^G5213 occasion^G874 of glorying^G2745 on our^G2257 behalf,^G5228 that^G2443 ye may have^G2192 wherewith to^G4314 answer them^G3588 that glory^G2744 in^G1722 appearance,^G4383 and^G2532 not^G3756 in heart.^G2588

If^G1487 I must needs^G1163 glory,^G2744 I will glory^G2744 of the things^G3588 that concern my^G3450 weakness.^G769

But^G235 the scriptures^G1124 shut up^G4788 all^G3956 things under^G5259 sin,^G266 that^G2443 the promise^G1860 by^G1537 faith^G4102 in Jesus^G2424 Christ^G5547 might be given^G1325 to them that^G3588 believe.^G4100

not^G3756 of^G1537 works,^G2443 that^G3361 no man^G5100 should glory.^G2744
