And sayde vnto me: Thou art my seruaunt Israel, I wyll be honoured in thee.

Notwithstandyng, I must be baptized with a baptisme, and howe am I payned tyll it be ended?

When Iesus hearde that, he sayde, this infirmitie is not vnto death: but for the glory of God, that the sonne of God, myght be glorified therby.

Father, glorifie thy name. Then came there a voyce from heauen saying I haue both glorified it, and wyll glorifie it agayne.

He shall glorifie me: For he shall receaue of mine, and shal shewe vnto you.

Therfore, let all the house of Israel know for a suretie, that God hath made that same Iesus, whom ye haue crucified, Lorde and Christe.

That ye all agreeyng together, may with one mouth prayse God, and the father of our Lorde Iesus Christe.

In whom the god of this worlde hath blinded the myndes of them whiche beleue not, lest the lyght of the Gospell of the glorie of Christe (which is the image of God) should shine vnto them.

That we shoulde be vnto the prayse of his glorie, whiche before beleued in Christe.

To thintent that nowe vnto the rulers and power in heauenly thynges myght be knowen by ye Church, the very manyfolde wysedome of God:

And puttyng out the hande writing of ordinaunces, that was agaynst vs, and that hath he taken out of the way, fastenyng it to his crosse:

Which by his meanes do beleue on God that raysed hym vp from death, and glorified hym, that ye might haue fayth and hope towarde God:

And they song a newe song, saying: Thou art worthy to take the booke and to open the seales therof: for thou wast kylled, and hast redeemed vs to God by thy blood, out of al kinrede, and tongue, and people, and nation:
