But of Sion it shalbe reported, that very many be borne in her: and the most highest him selfe shall establishe her.

Beholde, I wyll sende my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me, and the lord whom ye seeke, shal speedyly come to his temple, and the messenger of the couenaunt whom ye desire, beholde he commeth, saith the Lorde of hoastes.

For this is he, of whom it is spoken by the prophete Esayas, saying. The voyce of one crying in the wyldernesse: prepare ye the way of the Lorde, make his pathes strayght.

But what went ye out for to see? A prophete? yea I say vnto you, and more then a prophete.

But yf we shall say of men, then feare we the people: for all men holde Iohn as a prophete.

But yf we shal say, of men, we feare the people. For all men counted Iohn, that he was a very prophete.
