And Abram said to the King of Sodom, I haue lift vp mine hand vnto the Lorde the most hie God possessor of heauen and earth,

And they rose vp betimes in the morning, and sware one to another: then Izhak let them go, and they departed from him in peace.

Then Ionathan and Dauid made a couenant: for he loued him as his owne soule.

A mans gift enlargeth him, and leadeth him before great men.

A gift in secret pacifieth anger, and a gift in the bosome great wrath.

And hath taken one of the Kings seede, and made a couenant with him, & hath taken an othe of him: he hath also taken the princes of the land,

Brethren, I speake as men do: though it be but a mans couenant, when it is confirmed, yet no man doeth abrogate it, or addeth any thing thereto.
