A Psalme of Dauid, when he fled from his sonne Absalom. Lorde, howe are mine aduersaries increased? howe many rise against me?

And while hee yet spake, loe Iudas, one of the twelue, came, and with him a great multitude with swordes and staues, from the high Priests and Elders of the people.

And while he yet spake, beholde, a companie, and he that was called Iudas one of the twelue, went before them, and came neere vnto Iesus to kisse him.

And after the soppe, Satan entred into him. Then sayd Iesus vnto him, That thou doest, doe quickly.

Yee men & brethren, this scripture must needes haue beene fulfilled, which the holy Ghost by the mouth of Dauid spake before of Iudas, which was guide to them that tooke Iesus.
