And he went on his iourney from ye South toward Beth-el, to the place where his tent had bene at ye beginning, betweene Beth-el & Haai,

That ye may put difference betweene the holy and the vnholy, and betweene the cleane and the vncleane,

Then the Priest shall consider, and if the skab growe in the skin, then the Priest shal pronounce him vncleane: for it is leprosie.

And when the Priest seeth it, if it appeare lower then the skinne, and the heare thereof bee changed into white, ye Priest then shal pronounce him vncleane: for it is a plague of leprosie, broken out in the bile.

This is the law for euery plague of leprosie and blacke spot,

Howe weake is thine heart, saith the Lorde God, seeing thou doest all these thinges, euen the worke of a presumptuous whorish woman?

Hosea 7:9 TSK

Strangers haue deuoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray heares are here and there vpon him, yet he knoweth not.

For the Priestes lippes shoulde preserue knowledge, and they shoulde seeke the Lawe at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lorde of hostes.

And if he refuse to heare them, tell it vnto the Church: and if he refuse to heare the Church also, let him be vnto thee as an heathen man, and a Publicane.

Take heede therefore vnto your selues, and to all the flocke, whereof the holy Ghost hath made you Ouerseers, to feede the Church of God, which hee hath purchased with that his owne blood.

What shall we say then? Is the Lawe sinne? God forbid. Nay, I knewe not sinne, but by the Lawe: for I had not knowen lust, except the Lawe had sayd, Thou shalt not lust.

If any man obey not this our saying in this letter, note him, & haue no company with him, that he may be ashamed:

Stay prophane, and vaine babblings: for they shall encrease vnto more vngodlinesse.

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is mine helper, neither will I feare what man can doe vnto me.
