And the Angel of the Lord said vnto him, Wherefore hast thou nowe smitten thine asse three times? beholde, I came out to withstande thee, because thy way is not straight before me.
Let mine vprightnes and equitie preserue me: for mine hope is in thee.
Surely thou hast set them in slipperie places, and castest them downe into desolation.
But these that turne aside by their crooked wayes, them shal the Lord leade with the workers of iniquitie: but peace shalbe vpon Israel.
As the whirlewinde passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is as an euerlasting foundation.
The righteousnes of the vpright shal direct his way: but the wicked shall fall in his owne wickednes.
He that causeth the righteous to go astray by an euill way, shal fall into his owne pit, and the vpright shall inherite good things.
For when they shall say, Peace, and safetie, then shall come vpon them sudden destruction, as the trauaile vpon a woman with childe, and they shall not escape,
Remember therefore, how thou hast receiued and heard, & hold fast & repent. If therefore thou wilt not watch, I will come on thee as a thiefe, and thou shalt not know what houre I wil come vpo thee.
