And for the innocent blood that he shed, (for he filled Ierusalem with innocent blood) therefore the Lord would not pardon it.
But I wil come into thine house in the multitude of thy mercie: and in thy feare will I worship toward thine holy Temple.
Thus thou wilt saue the poore people, and wilt cast downe the proude lookes.
Therefore pride is as a chayne vnto them, and crueltie couereth them as a garment.
Deliuer my soule, O Lord, from lying lippes, and from a deceitfull tongue.
If they say, Come with vs, we will lay waite for blood, and lie priuilie for the innocent without a cause:
A faithfull witnes will not lye: but a false record will speake lyes.
Hie talke becommeth not a foole, much lesse a lying talke a prince.
A false tongue hateth the afflicted, and a flattering mouth causeth ruine.
And when you shall stretch out your hands, I wil hide mine eyes from you: and though ye make many prayers, I wil not heare: for your hands are full of blood.
The triall of their countenance testifieth against them, yea, they declare their sinnes as Sodom, they hide them not. Wo be vnto their soules: for they haue rewarded euil vnto themselues.
For your handes are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquitie: your lips haue spoken lies & your tongue hath murmured iniquitie.
Ye are of your father the deuill, and the lustes of your father ye will doe: hee hath bene a murtherer from the beginning, and abode not in the trueth, because there is no trueth in him. When hee speaketh a lie, then speaketh hee of his owne: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.
For without shall be dogges and enchanters, and whoremongers, and murtherers, and idolaters, and whosoeuer loueth or maketh lies.
