In that day I will perform against Eli all [things] which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end.

And Ahiah, the son of Ahitub, Ichabod's brother, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eli, the LORD'S priest in Shiloh, wearing an ephod. And the people knew not that Jonathan was gone.

And delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy's hand.

Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.

¶ How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, [and] cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!
