TSK · Amos 3:10

¶ Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people [as] they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.

¶ A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong [men] retain riches.

¶ So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of [such as were] oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors [there was] power; but they had no comforter.

Therefore I said, Surely these [are] poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, [nor] the judgment of their God.

¶ Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that [are] in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.

Ye that put far away the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near;

Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure [that is] abominable?

In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit.

Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
