¶ And thou shalt make an altar [of] shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof [shall be] three cubits.

¶ And he made the altar of burnt offering [of] shittim wood: five cubits [was] the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof; [it was] foursquare; and three cubits the height thereof.

¶ And the LORD called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

[Ye] ‹fools and blind: for whether› [is] ‹greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?›

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption [for us].

We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
