TSK · Hebrews 4:1

Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed [that] thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

¶ Happy [is] the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

¶ ‹Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.›

‹But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;›

‹When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:›

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

If we believe not, [yet] he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby many be defiled;

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of [their] conversation.
