¶ Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom [is] a right sceptre.
¶ He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
¶ Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this [is] his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
