And as they did eat, he said, ‹Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.›

And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, ‹Stretch forth thine hand.› And he stretched [it] out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

¶ ‹But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me› [is] ‹with me on the table.›

Jesus wept.

¶ ‹Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.›

¶ ‹I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.›

¶ Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.

¶ Furthermore, when I came to Troas to [preach] Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,
