¶ A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name [is] Holy; I dwell in the high and holy [place], with him also [that is] of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
‹He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.›
¶ ‹If ye love me, keep my commandments.›
‹He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.›
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
‹Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.›
And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
