TSK · John 4:42

The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

¶ The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

‹And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:›

Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

‹For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received› [them], ‹and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.›

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

¶ And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son [to be] the Saviour of the world.
