Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

‹But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.›

When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, ‹Doth this offend you?›

Jesus answered them, ‹Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?›

¶ ‹I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.›

‹But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.›

¶ ‹I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.›

¶ For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things [are] naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
