(Now the man Moses [was] very meek, above all the men which [were] upon the face of the earth.)

Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.

We know that God spake unto Moses: [as for] this [fellow], we know not from whence he is.

‹Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?›

‹Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.›

‹For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received› [them], ‹and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.›

¶ I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing.

¶ ‹And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;›
