And Joseph said unto them the third day, This do, and live; [for] I fear God:

Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I [am] the LORD your God.

But the former governors that [had been] before me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, beside forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people: but so did not I, because of the fear of God.

Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.

And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning [here] in fear:

‹But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.›
