¶ And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the LORD blessed him.

¶ In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,

The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.

And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
