And she wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people:

And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.

Jesus said unto them, ‹Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.›

The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.
