Bread [corn] is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break [it with] the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it [with] his horsemen.

‹He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.›

‹So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?›

¶ When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, ‹Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?›

‹Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.›

‹But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.›

¶ Who then is Paul, and who [is] Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard [him];
