¶ [There be] many that say, Who will shew us [any] good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

¶ Happy [is] the man [that] findeth wisdom, and the man [that] getteth understanding.

Riches and honour [are] with me; [yea], durable riches and righteousness.

¶ Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all [is] vanity.

¶ Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, ‹The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:›

‹But they made light of› [it], ‹and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:›
