‹But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but› [it shall be given to them] ‹for whom it is prepared.›

¶ And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together.

¶ And our hope of you [is] stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so [shall ye be] also of the consolation.

[It is] a faithful saying: For if we be dead with [him], we shall also live with [him]:

¶ I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
