TSK · Matthew 5:19

What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed [that] thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

Therefore I esteem all [thy] precepts [concerning] all [things to be] right; [and] I hate every false way.

But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

But he answered and said unto them, ‹Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?›

‹But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;›

‹Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway,› [even] ‹unto the end of the world.› Amen.

And said unto them, ‹Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.›

And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.

And not [rather], (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

¶ Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

Ye [are] witnesses, and God [also], how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

These things command and teach.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

[This is] a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

‹Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.›
