TSK · Proverbs 1:5

¶ And David said to Abigail, Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel, which sent thee this day to meet me:

Hear my words, O ye wise [men]; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.

¶ If now [thou hast] understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.

¶ Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they [are] ever with me.

Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

¶ Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof [is] brutish.

¶ Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, [and] he will understand knowledge.

¶ I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.
