Back to passage

¶ And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

For I [am] poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.

¶ The mouth of a righteous [man is] a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

¶ Pleasant words [are as] an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

¶ The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

‹He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.›
