¶ A virtuous woman [is] a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed [is] as rottenness in his bones.

¶ Better [is] a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices [with] strife.

¶ [It is] better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.

¶ A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.
