TSK · Proverbs 29:26

And God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other brother, and Benjamin. If I be bereaved [of my children], I am bereaved.

¶ Blessed [be] the LORD God of our fathers, which hath put [such a thing] as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which [is] in Jerusalem:

Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which [is] not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

Also unto thee, O Lord, [belongeth] mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.

¶ The wrath of a king [is as] messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it.

¶ Many will intreat the favour of the prince: and every man [is] a friend to him that giveth gifts.

¶ The king's heart [is] in the hand of the LORD, [as] the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: [yet] surely my judgment [is] with the LORD, and my work with my God.

For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
