TSK · Proverbs 8:34

Happy [are] thy men, happy [are] these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, [and] that hear thy wisdom.

For a day in thy courts [is] better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, [saying],

¶ Happy [is] the man [that] findeth wisdom, and the man [that] getteth understanding.

‹Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:›

And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.

¶ Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, ‹If ye continue in my word,› [then] ‹are ye my disciples indeed;›

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
