TSK · 1 Chronicles 19:2

The older daughter gave birth to a son and named him Moab. He is the ancestor of the Moabites of today.

When David came to Ziklag, he sent some of the plunder to the elders of Judah who were his friends, saying,“Here’s a gift for you from the looting of the LORD’s enemies!”

David said to him,“Don’t be afraid, because I will certainly extend kindness to you for the sake of Jonathan your father. I will give back to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will be a regular guest at my table.”

Then Tobiah the Ammonite, who was close by, said,“If even a fox were to climb up on what they are building, it would break down their wall of stones!”

Further Reforms by Nehemiah On that day the book of Moses was read aloud in the hearing of the people. They found written in it that no Ammonite or Moabite may ever enter the assembly of God,

However, a poor but wise man lived in the city, and he could have delivered the city by his wisdom, but no one listened to that poor man.
