just as the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

For then there will be great suffering unlike anything that has happened from the beginning of the world until now, or ever will happen.

and Joanna the wife of Cuza(Herod’s household manager), Susanna, and many others who provided for them out of their own resources.

The Parable of the Clever Steward Jesus also said to the disciples,“There was a rich man who was informed of accusations that his manager was wasting his assets.

And we have different gifts according to the grace given to us. If the gift is prophecy, that individual must use it in proportion to his faith.

For they were pleased to do this, and indeed they are indebted to the Jerusalem saints. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they are obligated also to minister to them in material things.

The Apostles’ Ministry One should think about us this way– as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit.

God’s Suffering Servants Now because we are fellow workers, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

To me– less than the least of all the saints– this grace was given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ

May the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on that day! And you know very well all the ways he served me in Ephesus.

For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love you have demonstrated for his name, in having served and continuing to serve the saints.
